What to Expect After Install

Dynasort starts working the moment you enable your first collection. This page walks through what you will see in the first hours and days, so you know what is normal.

Shopper-behavior signals (conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, bounce and exit rate, back-in-stock, most-clicked) get better as your store collects data, but Dynasort is never sitting idle while it waits. Your collections are already being sorted.

Right after install, before any shopper data has been processed, your dashboard shows a Data collection panel instead of empty charts. It tells you, at a glance:

  • Whether sorting is active.
  • How many products are in your catalog and how many collections are sorting.
  • A simple “what’s happening” guide: sorting now on catalog signals, collecting shopper events, overnight aggregation, then full analytics.
  • A running count of shopper events collected so far. This updates every few hours, not in real time.

Dynasort processes the day’s shopper activity in an overnight run (around 1:00 AM US Eastern time). After the first run has completed since you installed, the dashboard switches from the data-collection panel to the full analytics layout: the performance timeline, ranked panels, and conversion summaries.

Frequently asked questions

Does Dynasort start sorting immediately after install?

Yes. As soon as you enable a collection, Dynasort orders it using catalog signals it already knows: in stock versus out of stock, price, inventory level, product tags and sales. There is no warm-up period.

What is the Data collection panel on the dashboard?

It is the dashboard view shown before any shopper data has been processed. It confirms whether sorting is active, how many products and collections are in play, and a running count of shopper events collected so far, updated every few hours.

When do full analytics appear in Dynasort?

After the first overnight run since you installed. Dynasort processes each day's shopper activity around 1:00 AM US Eastern time, and the dashboard then switches to the full layout with the performance timeline, ranked panels and conversion summaries.

Why are my charts empty after the first night?

A brand new store or one with little storefront traffic has no shopper data to plot yet. The empty states mean everything is working. Charts fill automatically as real traffic comes in.

Which attributes depend on collected shopper data?

Conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, bounce rate, exit rate, back in stock and most clicked products get better as your store collects events. Catalog attributes such as price, inventory, tags and sales work from day one.
