Attributes
Attributes are the building blocks of Dynasort’s collection sorting and managed collections functionality. They define how products are ranked, filtered, and prioritized based on key data points.
Multiple Attribute Instances
Section titled “Multiple Attribute Instances”You can use multiple instances of the same attribute for flexibility. For example:
- A Managed Collection could include “Price greater than $20” and “Price less than $100” to select products within a range.
- A Recipe could include full size run conditions for both size and color.
Attribute Availability
Section titled “Attribute Availability”Not all attributes are available for both Collection Sorting and Managed Collections. Dynasort assigns badges to indicate where each attribute can be used:
- Collection Sorting
- Managed Collections
- Partner Attributes
Data Evaluation Badges
Section titled “Data Evaluation Badges”Attributes can also indicate how their data is evaluated:
- Numeric range
- String matching
- Boolean (true/false)
How Attributes Work in Dynasort
Section titled “How Attributes Work in Dynasort”- Collection Sorting: Attributes are weighted within a Recipe to determine ranking.
- Managed Collections: Attributes act as conditions to filter product inclusion.
- Combination use: Many attributes can be used in both.
